Kathleen is a health care consultant with over 35 years in health care experience including ICU/CCU nursing, physician office administration, GI claims submission and adjudication and seminar instruction. She is the owner of AskMueller Consulting, LLC, providing consulting services for physicians nationwide. Kathy is a nationally known speaker and the author of many multi-specialty medical and surgical coding workbooks. She has a great amount of experience in gastroenterology, surgical subspecialties and pediatric subspecialties. Her presentations have included the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN), Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates Inc., Digestive Disease Week (DDW), American Pediatric Surgical Associations (APSA), Decision Health and the Coding Institute. Kathy has written coding columns for ASGE, NASPGHAN and AGA.  She also answers the coding hotline for the ASGE.

Kristin Vaughn

Kristin is a national consultant with 20 years of coding and billing experience. This includes Gastroenterology, Pulmonary, Critical Care, Immunology/Rheumatology, Hematology, and Hospitalist specialties, plus seminar instruction, auditing and on-site consulting. Her background includes extensive experience in a teaching university. She currently is a full-time consultant/trainer with AskMueller Consulting, LLC. Her presentations have included multiple organizations and meetings such as: ASGE (American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy), AGA (American Gastrointestinal Association), DDW (Digestive Disease Week), and multiple GI state society meetings. She is a Certified Professional Medical Auditor and Certified ICD-10 trainer. She is the co-author of several workbooks and programs specific to Gastroenterology. She also answers the coding hotline for the ASGE.

Dr. Warshaw has also served as an expert witness in the actual court system, at both the federal and state levels.
